Bannerman Castle is a mysterious castle located on Pollepel Island in the Hudson River, New York. It was built in 1901 by Frank Bannerman, a Scottish-born munitions dealer. Bannerman used the castle to store his vast collection of military surplus, including cannons, muskets, swords, and armor.

Bannerman's Castle on Pollepel Island is located just an hour and a half from New York City, making it a perfect daytrip.
