I got up that tower in the undead settlement and chose "make peace" with the giant archer, he said he'll help, but i'm still getting bombarded with arrows when i go to cemetery, something i did wrong or just a treacherous giant? I think the fact he can hit the enemies in the Undead Settlement and Cathedral of the Deep with some accuracy and does not have any wood carvings proves that he isn't Gough but having the ring and similar bow suggests he is some sort of descendant or a Giant that at least venerates Gough.
