You'll need about 4-5 feet for each wreath depending on the size/height of your windows. I prefer to use 2 1/2 inch wide ribbon for my hanging ribbons. The ribbon I originally used to hang my wreaths was narrow. (See first picture of the house above to see the narrow hanging ribbon.)
